Week 2: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Adult CPR (single rescuer)
- Child and infant CPR
- Hands-on practice with manikins
Week 3: Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Understanding AEDs
- Proper use of AEDs
- Hands-on practice with AED trainers
Week 4: Airway Management and Choking
- Techniques for opening the airway
- Management of choking in adults, children, and infants
- Hands-on practice with manikins
Week 5: Simulation and Scenario-Based Training
- Real-life scenario simulations
- Team-based response practice
- Review and debriefing of simulations
By the end of this course, students will:
- Understand the principles and importance of Basic Life Support
- Perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
- Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) effectively
- Manage airway obstructions and choking incidents
- Respond to life-threatening emergencies with confidence
- Work as part of a team in emergency situations
- Receive BLS certification upon successful completion of the course
